Two New Filters: Clean Sheets and Comebacks

I'm always looking for the stats that don't show up in a standard league table — the ones that tell you something about how a team wins, not just whether it did. Today I'm adding two new filters to Smart Soccer Stats: clean sheets and comebacks.

Clean sheets

A clean sheet is the simplest measure of a defense doing its job — ninety minutes, nothing conceded. But strung together, clean sheets tell a bigger story: a back line in form, a goalkeeper on a hot streak, or a team grinding out results the hard way.

With the new filter you can:

• Find teams on a run of shut-outs, home or away.
• Spot the defenses quietly stringing together the longest clean-sheet streaks.
• Separate the sides built on a solid back line from the ones winning shoot-outs.

Comebacks

Comebacks are the opposite kind of drama — the matches where a team falls behind and claws its way back. They're some of the most thrilling games in the sport, and now they're a stat you can actually search for.

Use the comeback filter to surface:

• Teams that refuse to stay beaten, turning deficits into draws and wins.
• The fixtures with the biggest swings in momentum.
• Sides whose results look ordinary on paper but hide real fighting spirit.

Same standard as always

Both filters draw on the same reliable, verified data behind everything else on the site. I double-check before anything goes live, and — as always — I'd rather be honest that the occasional error can slip through than pretend the numbers are flawless.
